Morning assembly in the school intends to impart a cool, calm and serene note to the morning before heralding the advent of a hectic day filled with classes, courses & extracurricular activities. It begins with a prayer to the Almighty followed by the pledge. Each House is allotted duties for a fortnight to host the programme. The programme comprises of Thought for the day, Article, Song, Dance, Skit etc. The students develop confidence in public speaking and lose stage fear when they get an opportunity to be sparkling stars on the school stage. At the end of the morning assembly the News Headlines across the nation & worldwide are read out to transform the enthusiastic kids of today into aware citizens of tomorrow.
Special assemblies are held on all special & socially relevant days such as World Environment Day, Children's Day, Haryana Day, Republic Day, Independence Day, Teachers' Day, Gandhi Jayanti, Guru Nanak Jayanti etc as well as on all the main festivals such as Holi, Diwali, Onam, Eid, Christmas etc.
Children get a wide and open platform on Foundation Day, Sports Day, Annual Day and Grand Parents Day to showcase and excel in their desired field as they learn and grow together with their peers and friends. Every St. Johnian strives to seek glory for himself and win laurels for the institution.
